Riyad Ghannam graduated from North Carolina State University, School of Design with a bachelor of architecture. Riyad is licensed in California and New York and is a LEED accredited professional. Riyad has been practicing architecture in San Francisco for over 20 years.

Savina Kyurkchieva, AIA

Savina is a licensed architect in California and New York, and a member of the AIA. She received her second Master’s in Architecture degree on a full scholarship from Cornell University. She also holds a Master’s and Bachelor's degrees in Architecture from the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering, and Geodesy, Bulgaria. Prior to joining RG-Architecture, Savina worked on residential and commercial projects of various scales through her own practice. Savina is the recipient of several architecture awards, including Spark and International Architecture Awards.

He began his career at the highly esteemed, award-winning Norwegian firm, Stein Halvorsen Architects AS, that has participated in numerous competitions and specializes in public, cultural and civic buildings, office, commercial and high-end residential projects. He obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Architecture from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, Denmark. He has been with rg-architecture since 2014, where he is busy incorporating his knowledge of European aesthetic sensibility into their various building designs.

Michael is both a native to Europe and North America, he was raised in Vienna Austria, attended Architecture School at ETH Zurich in Switzerland and has now returned to his California roots to design and create here in San Francisco. Since joining RG-Architecture in 2019 he has gained expertise in space efficient unit design that optimizes utility and livability in our dense urban setting. He has experience working in teams planning large multifamily & mixed-use housing projects, but also as small and detail oriented work as a single apartment remodel.
