Riyad Ghannam graduated from North Carolina State University, School of Design with a bachelor of architecture. Riyad is licensed in California and New York and is a LEED accredited professional. Riyad has been practicing architecture in San Francisco for over 15 years.

Leland Cassen, RA

project architect

Leland has gathered over 25 years experience to deliver design solutions that originate from the need of the building’s form whether urban or rural, for the occupants and their space.  Along with having cross-disciplinary insights, he has advocated interconnectedness and interdependency of the architectural elements for projects placed in their origins of Nebraska plains, Idaho mountains, the California coast and to the Hawaiian islands.

Tommy Gundersen


Tommy is a native of Norway and began his practice there, where he developed his expertise in residential and mixed-used building architecture with a European design sensibility.

Zhengrui He


Zhengrui started his architecture career in China before moving to the US where he received his Master of Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis. Zhengrui is known for his creative vision and has a hand in designing buildings from residential multi-unit homes to commercial spaces.

Erika Purdy


Originally from the Bay Area, Erika graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture & Community Design at the University of San Francisco. Her interest in housing has only grown through the social and political excitement in residential development.

Sumana Raghavendra


Sumana’s expertise is in creating urban spaces that utilize nature as a generous part of the material palette. She has a particularly keen interest in the urban edge condition of buildings, and believes that the architecture of each building must positively impact the urban fabric it is a part of.

Having worked in two very different countries (India & USA), Sumana has a specialized understanding of how local culture influences design.
She has a Masters degree in Architecture (with a specialization in Urban Design) from the University of Oregon, Portland.

Shiyi Xin


Originally from China, Shiyi graduated from University of California, Los Angeles with a Master of Architecture. She is passionate about all scales of architecture design and will never stop exploring the possibilities to make the design better.

A young and dynamic graduate student currently pursuing her Master of Architecture from California College of the Arts.
